Regional Sales Manager - North East Italy


Position Summary


The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, profitability, and market development within the assigned territory through the leadership and coordination of the Sales Network and Field Marketing Specialists. The role ensures the achievement of commercial objectives, develops strategic customer relationships, and supports the execution of the regional sales strategy in line with company goals. Frequent travel within the assigned area is required.

Key Responsibilities


Achieve sales, profitability, and market share targets within the assigned territory. Develop and execute regional sales action plans aligned with company objectives. Support the General Manager of Enovis Surgical Italy in budget preparation, forecasting, and business planning. Lead, coach, and coordinate the Sales Network and Field Marketing Specialists. Plan field activities to ensure effective operating room support and product presentations. Develop new business opportunities while strengthening and retaining existing customers. Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, hospital management, procurement departments, distributors, agents, and other key stakeholders. Support negotiations related to tenders, contracts, quotations, and supply agreements. Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and business opportunities. Organize regional sales meetings, customer visits, educational programs, and local training initiatives. Support participation in congresses, scientific events, and sponsorship activities in collaboration with Marketing. Ensure compliance with company policies, information security, and data protection requirements.

Education


Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Biomedical and/or Mechanical Engineering, Healthcare Management, or other scientific disciplines.

Experience


Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the Medical Devices industry. Proven experience in sales leadership, people management, and business development. Experience managing hospital accounts and healthcare stakeholders. Experience supporting clinical activities and operating room environments is considered an asset.

Key Skills & Competencies


Knowledge of the orthopedic market (strongly preferred). Knowledge of orthopedic medical devices and their clinical application (strongly preferred).
