We operate with robust technology roadmaps and an efficient operating model that empowers every engineer to innovate, create value and reach their full potential.Partner with the best We are seeking an experienced and strategic Engineering Outsourcing Lead to develop and implement the outsourcing strategy for our IET Engineering organization based in Florence. This role will be responsible for identifying engineering activities suitable for outsourcing, evaluating vendor capabilities and managing external relationships to ensure quality, efficiency and alignment with business goals.ResponsibilitiesImplementing the overall engineering outsourcing strategy and roadmap.Identifying and assessing engineering functions and deliverables suitable for outsourcing.Evaluating and mapping vendor capacity and capabilities to support business needs.Managing vendor relationships, including communication, performance, quality and issue resolution.Overseeing engineering outsourcing processes and tools, driving continuous improvement.Collaborating with IET Engineering and Sourcing teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.Facilitating coordination between internal teams and external vendors.Supporting the Quality team in vendor qualification and surveillance activities.Ensuring accurate use of BH tools and processes and acting as interface with DT team for external suppliers.Owning and maintaining BH procedures related to engineering outsourcing.Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:Have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.Have a master's degree in finance, economics or STEM disciplines with a technical or legal focus (Desirable).Have prior experience dealing with contract management / change.Have strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.Have a results‑oriented mindset with proven organizational ability.Have excellent oral and written communication skills.Be able to influence and lead small teams.Be fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken) with strong presentation skills.Preferred Skills & QualificationsHave a Green Belt or equivalent quality certification.Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
