Lead Manufacturing Engineer at GE Vernova Job Description Summary Leads engineering teams to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, propose budgets for production, implement new technologies. Roles and Responsibilities Team Leadership: manage manufacturing engineers and technicians. Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement, Lean/Operational Excellence, and implement new manufacturing technologies. New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborate with design/operations to ensure manufacturability and smooth production ramp-up. Production equipment: Manage equipment selection, installation, upgrades, tooling design, and capital investment budgets. Documentation & Standards: Establish/approve process specifications, work instructions, material specifications, and ensure compliance (Safety, Quality, Regulatory). Material data accuracy: driving initiatives & Implementing a continuous process to review material data accuracy. Material setup: define production BOM for new code and define Make or Buy based on industrial organization. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Management Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college; or equivalent experience. SAP MM module knowledge. Fluency in Italian and English.
