This role is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients; developing and implementing care plans; coordinating care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams; and delivering high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities (Across All Departments)Maintain a professional image and provide excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staffAssess patient needs using history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic dataDocument findings; develop differential diagnoses; formulate plans of care and prognosisPlan, implement, and coordinate care to meet holistic, age‑specific patient needsPerform physical examinations and preventive health measures per practice guidelinesCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plansFoster an environment of compassion, respect, integrity, and professionalismRole-Specific Duties (May Vary by Department)Schedules (Varies by Department)Hospitalist roles may follow 7‑on/7‑off schedules with day shift coverage and/or night callUrgent Care schedules vary by site and coverage needsBreast Program hours may follow weekday clinic schedules (e.g., Monday–Thursday and partial Friday)Occupational Health schedules align with clinic and employer‑site needsRequired Qualifications / EducationMaster’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program required.New graduates may be considered in select departments (e.g., Surgery, Pain Management, Digestive Health, Cardiology, Neurosurgery)Two (2) years NP experience required for Urgent Care/Emergency Department and Hospitalist rolesThree (3) years NP experience required for Occupational Health / Industry Clinic rolesCardiovascular nursing experience required for Vascular Services considerationThree (3) to five (5) years NP experience required for Breast Surgery / Breast Program rolesLicensure / CertificationsActive South Carolina RN license with APRN designation verified by the SC LLRNational certification as a Nurse Practitioner by an approved accrediting agencyPrescriptive authority (or eligibility to obtain, depending on role)BLS requiredACLS required for Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, and Vascular roles#J-18808-Ljbffr
