Safetykleen Italia Spa, a leading provider of services to industries, including the loan for use of parts washing equipment, the supply of cleaning detergents, equipment maintenance and waste management, is seeking to expand its organisation with the following position : IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (PART- TIME) Key Responsibilities Handle 2nd line IT tickets and provide advanced technical support. Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues (Wi‑Fi, LAN, DNS, IP conflicts, etc.). Install and configure desktops, laptops, OS, and applications. Perform system upgrades, hardware replacements and equipment maintenance. Support remote users worldwide using remote desktop tools. Ensure system security and compliance (antivirus, access control, policies). Run regular maintenance tasks: updates, scans, backups, clean‑ups. Document issues, maintain IT inventory and improve service processes. Work with external vendors and ensure compliance with SLAs. Deliver excellent customer service and provide user training when required. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux environments. Ability to troubleshoot software, hardware and network issues. Proficiency with remote support tools. Good understanding of security best practices. Excellent communication skills and customer‑first mindset. Excellent knowledge of the English language. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; team player. Experience & Qualifications 2–4 years of IT Support / Help Desk experience in multinational environments. Good understanding of ITIL (Foundation certification is a plus). Beneficial certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft MDAA, or similar. Experience with IT upgrade, deployment or migration projects. Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. The role is based in Italy but supports Safetykleen Employee’s worldwide and will require travel. Multi‑Lingual is a benefit. Reports to the Group IT Service Desk Manager.
