Key Job ResponsibilitiesWork as part of the Operations team; primary responsibility is the maintenance and upkeep of the data center infrastructure. Server rack installation, hardware break‑fix on various components, troubleshooting network issues and responding to emergent situations that affect operational stability. Work and meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets via a directed workflow; first line touch point for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues. Perform on‑call duties and participate in Data Center operations, handling scheduled maintenance and change management activities that require monitoring of the data center infrastructure. Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and to discuss achieving daily/weekly goals. Apply policies and procedures, including safety and security, within the department. Contribute to documentation on technical issues through root cause analysis for operational issues that occur, and contribute to process improvement initiatives relevant to the data center environment. Assist in training less experienced members of the team (for more experienced technicians). Cover 24x7 shift rotation.A Day in the Life You will support DC infrastructure equipment (e.g., racks, servers, networking devices, hardware components, cables, etc.) and follow instructions in a ticket‑based environment, working on systematic problem resolution and performing routine operation activities on hardware or spare parts, including rack install, server break/fix, rack decom, etc. You will perform on‑call duties and participate in Data Center operations, handling scheduled maintenance and change management activities that require monitoring of the data center infrastructure. Show a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving. Maintain site management and operational area tidiness. Cover 24x7 shift rotation. Basic QualificationsExperience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment & troubleshooting methodologies 2+ years of relevant field experiencePreferred QualificationsLinux Operating System, Hardware or Networking certifications. Knowledge in cloud computing environments.
