1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsI’m supporting a long-standing client in Milan who are expanding their radar engineering group and are looking to hire a Senior RF Engineer to take technical ownership of RF board design for next-generation airborne and satellite radar systems. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants deeper responsibility across RF hardware, system refinement and full product delivery.As a Senior RF Engineer, you’ll lead the design, optimisation and development of RF boards and sub-systems, ensuring alignment with the overall system architecture and hardware strategy. Working closely with the engineering manager, you’ll refine high‑level concepts into robust, manufacturable hardware, oversee component selection (including COTS), and guide the reuse of proven architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and optimise RF hardware and RF board‑level systemsTake ownership of electronic board design across the full engineering lifecyclePrepare design documentation, justification files and guidelinesEnsure adherence to development standards, reuse policies and programme plansCoordinate with system leads to maintain consistency between top‑down requirements and hardware constraintsSupport RF testing, characterisation and validation activitiesRequired ExperienceStrong experience in RF circuit design and RF PCB developmentKnowledge of modern RF transceiver architectures or direct‑sampling platforms is advantageousHands‑on use of RF simulation tools such as ADS, CST, MATLAB or SPICEProficiency in using RF test equipment including VNAs, spectrum analysers and oscilloscopesProgramming skills (VHDL, C/C++, C#, MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW) are a plusExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearlyComfortable working in collaborative, international engineering teamsMaster’s degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of experienceFluent EnglishDesirableExperience with radar, remote sensing, or airborne/space hardware programmesBackground working across multidisciplinary RF and electronics projectsIf you’d like more detail or a confidential chat about the client, let me know.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesStaffing and RecruitingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at IC Resources by 2xGet notified about new Senior Radio Frequency Engineer jobs in Milan, Lombardy, Italy .Cologno Monzese, Lombardy, Italy 1 month ago#J-18808-Ljbffr
