Overview In this consultancy, you will consolidate UNICEF and partner work into a concise evidence base on data and AI governance for children. You will refine UNICEF’s strategic shift toward governance of data ecosystems and articulate a clear value proposition and service offers. You will engage with offices, partners, and governments to shape a country-facing entry point and an outcome-oriented international convening. Your work will culminate in a strategic package and implementation roadmap that supports country programmes and partnerships.
Responsabilità Consolidate UNICEF and partner materials into a concise evidence and portfolio synthesis
Refine strategic shift toward governance of data ecosystems affecting children
Clarify relationships between DG4C Manifesto, RD4C and other assets
Develop and test a country-facing offer and technical-support model
Design and facilitate an international convening and draft practical scenarios
Produce a strategic package outlining value proposition, products, services, and roadmap
Prepare inception notes, methodologies, and consultation plans
Conduct consultations with UNICEF offices, partners, governments, and experts
Produce rapid synthesis of convening outcomes and final recommendations
Finalize service catalogue, instruments, partnerships, and implementation roadmap
Prepare senior management briefing and presentation
Requisiti fondamentali Advanced (Master's) degree in a relevant field
At least 10 years of experience in data governance, digital governance, or AI governance
Proven experience developing strategic frameworks, value propositions, or roadmaps
Experience designing and facilitating high-level international convenings or multi-stakeholder consultations
Strong understanding of national data ecosystems, public policy, and governance
Experience linking normative frameworks with country implementation and monitoring (desirable)
Experience with UNICEF, UN system or similar multilateral organizations (asset)
Excellent strategic analysis, writing, and facilitation skills
Ability to navigate institutional sensitivities and translate complex concepts into practical products
Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of another UN language is an asset
