Will you be the next to join our team?As a Senior PMO Officer, you will join a team dedicated to the management and coordination of complex programmes and projects within the Space sector. You will contribute to space programme governance and core PMO activities, ensuring effective planning, budget monitoring, schedule management, risk management, and reporting.
Your main responsibilities will include:Supporting programme and project management activities across key PMO domains, including planning, budget management, schedule monitoring, risk management, reporting, and governance. Contributing to the planning, coordination, monitoring, and control of complex programmes and projects involving multiple stakeholders and international partners. Supporting budget planning and financial monitoring activities, including forecasting, cost control, performance analysis, and periodic reporting (quarterly and annual). Preparing management reports, executive summaries, dashboards, KPIs, and other decision-support materials for programme and project governance. Supporting the management of programme and project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items, ensuring timely follow-up and escalation when required. Contributing to the collection, validation, consolidation, and analysis of project, operational, and financial data to support informed decision-making. Supporting the preparation of programme documentation, reviews, deliverables, and reporting activities for institutional and contractual stakeholders. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective coordination, governance, and programme execution. Contributing to the continuous improvement of programme management processes, methodologies, tools, and reporting frameworks.
KEY REQUIREMENTSAt least 6 years of professional experience in the tasks describedUniversity master’s degree (5 years or equivalent)Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Availability to travel and, where required, temporarily relocate to Client premises within Europe (mainly Czech Republic, France, Spain, Germany, Netherlands), subject to project and contractual requirementsExperience with PM tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Planning)Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent stakeholder management, coordination, and teamwork skills within international environments.
Enthusiasm and motivation to work in dynamic, internationaland challenging contexts.
Strong organizational skills, problem-solving attitude, and results-oriented approach.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with budget planning and financial management toolsExperience in the Space/Aerospace sector or involvement in European space and satellite programmes (e.g. Galileo, EGNOS, Copernicus, GOVSATCOM)Knowledge of governance, planning, monitoring, and control methodologies commonly adopted within European institutional environments.
Experience working on complex programmes involving multiple stakeholders, suppliers, and international partners.
What we offer
The salary range for this position is between 34,000 and 40,000 gross per year, depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, and level of seniority.
The employment level and classification will be determined during the recruitment process based on the selected candidate’s profile and in compliance with applicable regulations and the Metalmeccanici Industria Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL).
The salary indicated refers solely to the Gross Annual Salary.
The overall compensation package may also include additional variable components linked to the achievement of specific individual and/or company objectives, as well as welfare programs and company benefits. The final compensation package will be defined based on the selected candidate’s profile and its alignment with the requirements of the position.
