We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate has very good knowledge of the German language, a solid understanding of software testing, strong attention to detail, and preferably some knowledge of German tax processes.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business and technical requirements related to a German tax software; develop, document, and execute test cases and test scenariosCreate and maintain comprehensive manual test suites for full functional coveragePerform mainly functional and regression testingDevelop and maintain a clear and structured manual test strategy aligned with project timelines and deliverablesLog, track, and verify bugs and issues in coordination with the development teamParticipate in reviews of user stories, requirements, and technical documentation from a QA perspectiveQualificationsUniversity Degree in Computer Science, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in manual software testingFamiliarity with government systems or financial/tax software is a plusExperience with test case management and issue tracking tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar)Experience in accounting and payroll is a plusExperience in Agile/Scrum environmentsKnowledge of data validation (e.g. XML)Experience in managing virtual machines in an open-source cloud computing platform (e.g. OpenNebula or similar)Excellent attention to detail and a structured, analytical approachAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional teamGood communication skills in German (C1 level required) and good English skillsSeniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionQuality AssuranceIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting#J-18808-Ljbffr
