With a more than 8,000 employees across 30 nationalities, 4 manufacturing sites, 4 R&D centers and a commercial presence spanning 160 countries in 5 continents, the Company is the trusted partner for everyone who demands high-quality industrial tyres with a special focus on performance and sustainability.We are looking for aTruck Product Development Specialistdedicated to developing cutting‑edge products for theNAFTA market , one of the most demanding and high‑performance-oriented commercial tire segments.Role Overview As a Truck Product Development Specialist, you will be part of an international R&D environment, contributing to the definition, design, validation, and continuous improvement of products specifically tailored for NAFTA applications. You will transform market needs into robust product solutions aligned with Prometeon’s technological and strategic roadmap.Key Responsibilities Market Analysis & Benchmarking Conduct in-depth analysis of NAFTA market applications, technical requirements, performance expectations, and competitor products. Product & Mold Design Design tread patterns, tread profiles, and sidewall geometries using CAD tools (AutoCAD, CREO preferred). Support mold design activities in coordination with manufacturing teams. Technical Specification Development Define tire specifications and performance targets. Follow industrialization phases in Prometeon’s manufacturing plants. Plan, monitor, and analyze internal and external testing sessions. Simulation & Optimization UseFinite Element Analysis (FEA)tools to model, optimize, and validate structural and performance characteristics. Market Validation Monitor product KPIs in real NAFTA field conditions and contribute to continuous improvement plans. Collaboration & Mobility Work closely with cross-functional teams across R&D, industrialization, quality, and marketing. Availability fortravel to North America(typically 1–2 weeks per mission).Required Skills & Qualifications Degree inMechanical Engineering ,Materials Engineering , or related fields. Proficiency inAutoCAD ; experience withCREOis a plus. Experience withFEA toolsapplied to tire design. Preferably familiar withtire manufacturing processes . Strong command of theEnglish language . Excellent capability to analyze complex technical data. Effective problem‑solving skills and proactivity.
