The ideal candidate is someone driven and self‑motivated by passion for cars, a positive and target‑oriented person capable to face complex challenges in a dynamic environment.ResponsibilitiesLeading the development and implementation of advanced Infotainment System features/functionsEnsuring that the function is aligned with the overall business strategy and goalsProject status reporting in internal and external meetingsWriting Requirements and Functional SpecificationsInterfacing with stakeholders to discuss system architecture(s) through workshops and design meetingsIssue tracking and defect analysisAnalyzing and evaluating performance to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changesSupplier steering and coordinationKey Requirements2-5 years of experience in the Automotive field (Tier1/OEMs)Knowledge of Infotainment System Architecture including hardware, software and user interfacesExperience with software development methodologies, including Agile and WaterfallKnowledge of software programming languages, such as C, C++, Python, and JavaKnowledge of embedded systems and real‑time operating systemsExperience with project management tools, such as JiraFamiliarity with GNU/Linux and Android operating systemsFamiliarity with software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing and regression testingSense of integrity and responsibilityTake on responsibility, work independently, being able to share achievements with the teamShow initiative and work in a structured wayPreferential RequirementsKnowledge of operating system concepts, such as process management, memory management, file systems and power managementKnowledge of automotive standard protocols, such as CAN and EthernetKnowledge of security principles and best practices for securing Linux systemsExperience with version control systems, such as GitExperience with debugging and troubleshooting complex systemsKnowledge of open‑source software development and licensingAltre informazioniEducation: Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or similar.Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory.
