If being at the forefront of new innovation for Alexa sounds exciting, we'd love to talk to you You don’t need any experience in those specific technologies, just an enthusiasm to build state‑of‑the‑art software particularly around user interfaces, cross‑device APIs, or cloud‑based services.Key Job ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and maintaining new systems, partnering with other Amazon and third‑party services and device teams as required. Ensure that Alexa almost never drops her end of the conversation, delivering services that respond with minimal latency at Amazon scale. Work on device frameworks, web services, APIs, large‑scale data infrastructure, and more.OpportunitiesInvent a novel delightful Android‑based experience for our customers.Collaborate with UX and Product owners to define customer experience and product direction.Deliver high quality software through working in a dynamic, team‑focused Agile/Scrum environment.Basic Qualifications3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture of new and existing systems, experience with design patterns, reliability, and scalingExperience programming with at least one software programming languagePreferred Qualifications3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalentAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability or other legally protected status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
