Supervise inspection activities across mechanical disciplines including welding dimensional control and coating/painting operations. Verify Quality Control Plans implementation manage inspection teams and ensure all quality records are properly collected for project completion and client handover. This role offers specialization tracks based on technical expertise and project requirements.Location: Project-based (International assignments)Experience Level: Mid to Senior (5-12 years)Disciplines: Mechanical Welding Dimensional Control Coating & PaintingKey ResponsibilitiesSupervise and witness inspections check reports and verify collection of Quality RecordsReview Quality Control Plans and verify tests/inspections are performed according to QC Plans/Inspection Test PlansEvaluate qualification of inspection personnel and verify work procedures including special processesCheck availability and adequacy of consumables equipment and instrumentationVerify materials and equipment are correctly received stored preserved calibrated and traceableOversee subcontractor activities witness inspections and collect Quality Control RecordsVerify preparation of Quality works dossier and ensure records are retrievable in As-Built documentationEnsure NCR management process is in place and effectiveSupport QC Information System setup and coating production activitiesAct as QC Inspector when necessaryTechnical Specialization AreasMechanicalSteel structures erection sequences and methodologiesPiping engines fluid machines and naval mechanical operationsEquipment receiving inspections and material traceabilityCoating and painting techniques for mechanical itemsWeldingWelding processes and defect identificationNDT methodologies and operationsWelding parameters consumables and procedures (WPS/PQR)Welder qualifications and heat treatment processesDimensional ControlDimensional control technologies and methodologiesMeasurements during fabrication construction erection and installationTolerance definition and constructability analysisAs-built dimensional dossier preparationCoating & PaintingAnticorrosion and coating techniquesSurface preparation and atmospheric condition monitoringWet and dry film thickness testingCoating/painting inspections per international standards (BGAS CSWIP or equivalent)QualificationsEducation:Technical diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related technical fieldExperience:5-12 years in Quality Control inspection and supervisionMinimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in at least one specialization areaExperience in oil & gas offshore construction or fabrication projectsSite-based QC supervision experience requiredCertifications (based on specialization):Welding Inspector certification (CSWIP AWS CWI or equivalent)Coating Inspector certification (BGAS CSWIP NACE or equivalent)NDT Level II certification (for welding specialists)Industry-specific certifications as required by projectTechnical Skills:Expert knowledge of Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test PlansProficiency with industry standards (ASTM ASME AWS ACI API NACE etc.)Understanding of construction sequences and planningInstrument calibration control capabilitiesKnowledge of warehouse procedures for material preservationFamiliarity with QC management tools and databasesCore Competencies:Client management and stakeholder communicationProject coordination and leadershipSubcontractor/supplier management and controlResource allocation and workload managementQuality training deliveryISO 9001 Quality Management System understandingAdditional InformationIn SEGULA Technologies la diversità lequità e linclusione sono al centro della nostra politica delle risorse umane.
