I help organizations get the best out of open source products like GeoServer, MapStore, GeoNode and GeoNetwork.About the jobWe are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our core products international software development team.ResponsibilitiesPartner with product leads and designers to develop reliable and well‑tested backend softwareDesign and implementation of new GeoServer/GeoTools featuresPerform day‑by‑day bug fixingQualifications3+ years of experienceGood knowledge of Java EnterpriseGood Knowledge of Spring FrameworkGood knowledge of relational databases; PostgreSQL is a must, Oracle a plusAbility to adapt and learn new skills quicklyBeing fluent in English, both written and spokenExperience in designing and implementing scalable systems for highly concurrent loadsKnowledge of distributed systems and related key technologies is a plus (e.g. Kafka)Knowledge of GeoServer and GeoTools is a plusWe offer a variety of contracts but, please, note that our intention is to establish a long‑term relationship.
