The environment underpins business‑critical & regulated workloads, includinglegal / justice log streams& application observability; must remain resilient, secure & performant at scale. Field: national provider ofcloud ,hosting ,domain registration ,data center&trust services(includingcertified email / PEC )Key Responsibilities Operate & maintain theELK/Kafka ‑based log ingestion & search stack, ensuringhigh availability , scaling & fine‑tuning (topics, partitions, shards, indices, ILM, retention) Proactivelymonitor capacity&performance ; analyzemonthly reports&trendstoforecast growth&prevent incidents Engineer & optimizeLogstashpipelines,Grokpatterns & parsing/transport paths; reprocess failed events & reduce parsing failure rates Implementpatch management , address end‑of‑life scenarios & applysecurity fixesaccording to guidelines provided by the Security function Collaborate withapplication owners ,Legal / Compliance& otherBusiness Linesto align ingestion contracts,APIusage & monitoring Contribute to deliveryacceptance testing&handover , updating technical documentation & run books ( JIRAused for ticketing / workflow) Maintainobservability dashboards&metrics( Grafana / Elastic ) & improvealerting fidelityRequirements Solid hands‑on experience administeringELKecosystems at scale, includingKafka/Zookeeper ,Logstash ,Elasticsearchcluster sizing & tuning StrongLinuxsystems administration ( Ubuntu ,CentOS / RHEL ,Debian ) in clustered HA environments; working knowledge ofMicrosoft Windows Server 2012–2019as needed IaC:Ansible(roles, inventories, AWX) &Terraformfor provisioning & drift control CI/CD & versioning:GitLab Familiarity withITILprocesses (Incident/Change/Service Request) & ticketing viaJIRA Clear technical writing for run books & operational documentationLocation: completelyfull remote– Italy-basedFreelancersare highly welcomed tooCandidates ofany gender identity , after reviewing the mandatory privacy notice available at are kindly requested to submit their CV inPDFformat, quoting the reference number (Ref.--- ).
