Job Description Summary As Enterprise LEAN Leader you will be accountable for leading the LEAN transformation of AvioAero under the guidelines of GE Aerospace and within the broader scope of Propulsion Aerospace Technologies. You will directly lead a team of professionals and define guidelines and operating procedures to orchestrate LEAN deployment with all AvioAero functions and their relevant LEAN leaders. You will map out the current status of the Transformation and define state‑developing plans and talent management across the entire AvioAero organization, coaching and nurturing a community of learners and practitioners. This person will be an outstanding coach for peers and up to the AvioAero Senior Leadership Level, representing a recognized leader at all levels of the Organization. A sound ability to connect theory and tangible business outcomes is essential. The Enterprise LEAN Leader deploys structures, action planning, KPI bowler charts, problem‑solving, and standard work to transform the way of work. At the same time drives long‑term transformational activities such as establishing cross‑functional value streams and/or Hoshin Kanri (policy deployment). You will challenge functions and leaders and lead by example, spending most of time at Genba. Essential Responsibilities As the Enterprise LEAN Leader you will drive and lead the LEAN transformation in the Company, developing the roadmap and orchestrating the framework for every functional team. This role is a guide and mentor for younger talents and the Company Leadership Team. You will identify gaps and opportunities for learning, benchmark with other companies, and translate LEAN theory for manufacturing and transactional environments. You will stimulate continuous improvement by activating action planning, problem‑solving Kaizen bursts, and leading the optimization of entire cross‑functional value streams. You will also coach and lead Hoshin Kanri initiatives for the entire enterprise. Exemplar change agent, the Leader uses strong interpersonal skills to interpret needs and context of change, coordinating a team of Subject Matter Experts in lean methodology and tools and a team of LEAN Functional Leaders across the Organization. You will tie strategy, business priorities, and operations in a seamless approach. This role requires mastery in:LEAN methodology and tools: action planning, bowler charts, deployment, KPI roll‑out, Hoshin Kanri or similar policy deployment techniques Coaching at different levels of the Organization Data analysis and problem‑solving across the widest range Coordinating leaders across different sites and organizations Challenging processes, whether functional or cross‑functionalQualifications / RequirementsSignificant experience (15 years) in a complex industrial environment with strong knowledge of both manufacturing and transactional processes. Proven leader who has driven continuous improvement / LEAN results in an operation. Proven track record of success through the implementation and deployment of Lean methodology and tools. Experience in operations management and people development is a key requirement. Master’s degree from an accredited university or college. Lean qualifications from universities / MBAs and specific lean tools certifications are a plus. Leader who has been responsible for and run a lead operation and delivered results during their career. Experience in the Danaher Business System is a plus. Work visa in accordance with local regulation is required.Desired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skills. Fluency in Italian and English. Leader who has led or participated closely in Materials SIOP Demand / Supply planning in a lean organization. Strong cultural change‑management approach and attitude to drive transformation through continuous improvement. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and drive transformation with several different stakeholders in a complex matrix organization. Demonstrated ability to define, analyze and resolve problems. Attitude to coach others. Ability to deal with high pressure situations in a fast‑pacing environment, manage conflict, negotiate. Proven success in leading teams in complex projects across different functions and in leveraging lessons learned.
