This to be ready to install and service thousands of RVMs when the deposit return scheme (DRS) will be launched in Italy. The field service engineer installs, maintains, services, and repairs RVM Systems reverse vending machines within Italy. Machines will soon be in retail stores throughout the country, and these machines allow customers to return their beverage cans and bottles. RVM Systems is a global leader in collection solutions for used beverage containers. We develop, manufacture, sell, supply and service reverse vending machines (RVMs) and high-speed counting solutions. We are a long-term technology partner to almost all deposit return schemes (DRS) and container deposit schemes (CDS) globally. DRS schemes are used worldwide to encourage people to recycle drink containers such as bottles, cans and glass and therefore contribute to a circular economy with less littering and pollution. The successful candidate will be a problem solver responsive to customers' needs. Key ResponsibilitiesInstall reverse vending machines Train store personnel in how to use the machines Perform regular servicing and maintenance Attend breakdowns and complete timely, professional repairs on-site. Submit accurate work reports via the provided electronic device. Maintain safety standards and complete regular housekeeping records. Complete on-site system audits and evaluations. Plan warehouse capacity plan in cooperation with Sales for storage/operations Maintain spare parts storage Comply with all Health & Safety requirements Ensure our company equipment is kept secure at all timesKey Skills and Experience requirementsMinimum 3 years of experience as field service engineer – with installation and maintenance Good IT knowledge and previous experience with Linux systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Good knowledge of mechanical and electronic processes Proficient in email and online platforms; capable of completing online inductions. Full driving licence. Expertise in mechanical, electrical, vending systems or ePOS network setup advantageousWorking HoursMonday to Friday Work on weekends and evenings when needed for installation and service is required. Flexible working arrangements are available Fully equipped company van Employees are provided with work phones, laptops, tools and workwear Fuel card will be providedRequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer.
