Job Description Job Title: People Business Partner – Italy, Portugal & Spain Location: Milan We are seeking a skilled and strategic People Business Partner to join our team in Milan, Italy. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving people-centric initiatives that align with our organisational goals and foster a positive work environment across our Italian, Portuguese and Spanish territories.
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, performance management, and talent development
- Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption
- Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend actionable insights
- Develop and deliver training programmes to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities
- Collaborate with the HR team to improve policies, processes, and employee experience
- Act as a coach and mentor to managers, supporting their growth and effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with Italian, Portuguese and Spanish employment laws and regulations
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive organisational culture
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR or a related field, with a focus on business partnering
- 2 years’ experience of line management experience, 1 direct report as a minimum
- Language requirement: Italian - Fluent or Native and professional proficiency of English
- Proven track record of partnering with senior leadership and implementing successful HR initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in HR software and data analysis tools
- Expertise in change management, employee relations, and performance management
- In-depth knowledge of Italian employment law and HR best practices
- Experience in talent management and organisational development
- Ability to influence and drive results in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- CIPD qualification or equivalent qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
