Join us ResponsibilitiesBuild large‑scale batch and real‑time data pipelines using GCP data processing frameworks. Use an analytical, data‑driven approach to understand fast‑changing business needs. Collaborate with the team to evaluate business priorities, liaise with key partners, and address data system requirements. Participate in project planning: identify milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements; track activities and task execution.Required Skills / QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 5–10 years of experience in a data engineering role. Expertise in software engineering with Scala, Java, or Python. Advanced SQL skills – preference for BigQuery. Strong knowledge of Google Managed Services (Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Data Fusion). Experience with workflow management. Understanding of GCP batch and streaming architecture. Solid knowledge of data technologies and data modeling. Experience building modern, cloud‑native data pipelines and operations with an ELT philosophy. Experience with data migration and data warehousing. Insight into organizing, normalizing, and storing complex data for both ETL and end users. Passion for designing ingestion and transformation of data from multiple sources into a cohesive data asset. Knowledge of developer tools, CICD, etc. Excellent communication skills with empathy toward end users and internal customers. Experience with the Big Data ecosystem (Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, HBase).
