Want to be part of the team building the finest property, casualty and specialty lines insurance company in the world?Learn more about our unique culture and history.Job Opportunity:Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting opportunity for an Underwriting Technician to join our recently opened office in Milan.You will be the first Underwriting Technician joining our team which means there is a big opportunity to contribute and support in the shaping of our Italian operation in the early days of its regional establishment.You will have responsibility for ensuring the Underwriting teams across different Lines of Business are suitably enabled to transact business effectively through timely accurate and complete recording of data, investigation of issues and relevant engagement with external & internal stakeholders.Working alongside the Underwriting team, the Underwriting Technician will have extensive involvement with our Operations function and operational support area. This role provides the opportunity to optimise process, contribute to system-based improvements and promote efficiency. The Underwriting Technician is uniquely positioned to report on production, participate in improvements and provide ongoing training and feedback across the business.This position is a great fit for a dedicated and experienced individual who is engaged, passionate, social and always striving towards excellence, in all what they do.
