You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next‑generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.The position’s responsibilities include scaling support of several data center locations and day‑to‑day assistance with capacity management. You will work closely with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution as directed by Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers.You will leverage your experience supporting large‑scale, enterprise‑class networks as well as network implementation and troubleshooting. As a Network Deploy Technician, you will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with regular peer and customer interaction. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.Key job responsibilitiesManaging work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projectsCollaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstaclesTroubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cordsSpecifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipmentParticipating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardwareTraveling within and outside of regional work area is required. You will be responsible for having a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license to travel within the regional work area, as company transportation will not be provided.A day in the lifeProviding the first level networking devices to serve our customer racks entails various tasks (the name of the game is efficiency): You will track network rack intake and delivery; work with various onsite teams to request for rack space, power, and cooling for network racks. And then partner with network engineers to ensure all configurations are ready. You'll also be working on link and device troubleshooting within a certain Service-Level AgreementThere is also console builds (and room builds) that are really exciting. The base pay for this position ranges from $55,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $125,100/year in our highest geographic market.
