Due to the nature of the travel the base location is flexible in Italy.Role OverviewThe Employee Relations Specialist (ERS) is an important role within the EU EXR (Employee Experience and Relations) Field organization supporting the Country EXR team. This position assists in driving ER activities and initiatives across both under the roof (UTR) and on the road (OTR) operational business lines within a specific country geography. The primary focus is to support Employee Relations Manager (ERM) operational excellence goals and strategy while addressing the ER needs of the country.The ERS works closely with Ops DSPM and other key in-country stakeholders to support the execution of the country-specific ER strategy. This role involves assisting ERM in the implementation of strategies to address country labour relations challenges for business lines. The ERS provides labour relations support by collaborating with operational teams to advance company objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesRelations StrategySupport ERM in the implementation of the EXR strategyAssist ERM in delivering business line-specific goals and key initiativesIdentify potential issues and support risk mitigation strategies with data and reportsMonitor internal EXR environment and external operating contextExcellenceAnalyze data to support recommendations and measure strategy successContribute to innovative solutions that challenge and improve current process standardSupport engagement mechanisms to maintain positive workplace environmentsConduct site visits with ERM to gather information for ER risk mitigationLead EXR reporting activitiesCollaborationBuild relationships with peers and internal leadersSupport project management for initiatives aimed at improving associate and driver experienceContribute to the development of standardized ER solutionsThe position reports to the Senior Employee Relations Manager within the EU Employee Experience and Relations Team at Amazon. This is a full‑time position that will require significant travel throughout Italy (up to 50% of the time) and beyond on occasion sometimes with little or no notice.QualificationsBachelors degree and basic experience in employee relations labor relations or labor / employment lawFluency in Italian and English (CEFR C2)Basic knowledge of Italian labor and employment lawExperience in project management within a matrix environmentMasters Degree in Law Human Resources or related fieldExperience working with third‑party contractor workforcesExperience in distribution logistics and / or transportation industriesStrong analytical communication and writing skillsAbility to work in fast‑paced ambiguous environmentsFlexibility and good organizational skillsAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
