This spirit courses throughout Audible, supporting a culture of creativity and inclusion built on our People Principles and our mission to build more equitable communities in the cities we call home.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or Associate's degree or above10+ years of experience as a user experience designer, product designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar rolePortfolio that demonstrates delivering end-to-end experiences for digital services across multiple platforms and devicesExperience in a range of design approaches, methods, and tools that you use to plan, concept, and prototype complex projectsPreferred QualificationsA master’s degree in Design, Information Science, Computer Science / HCI, or a design-related discipline such as cognitive psychologyExperience leveraging AI tools in the product design processExperience designing for AI-enabled featuresExperience mentoring and elevating senior-level design talentExperience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standardsAble to take ambiguous design problems and work with stakeholders and user research insights to craft design solutions grounded in customer needs and business goalsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output in all deliverablesExcellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to communicate design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences at varying levels of the organizationAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $147,600 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $244,000 / year in our highest geographic market.
