A technology company based in the Turin area, operating in the semiconductor industry, specializes in the design and development of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions for advanced semiconductor testing.
As part of its strategic growth and continued investment in next-generation semiconductor test technologies, the company is strengthening its Software Engineering organization to support the development of innovative ATE platforms dedicated to the Analog and Mixed-Signal semiconductor market.
To support this evolution, the company is looking for a Senior Software Architecture Manager with extensive experience in software architectures for semiconductor test systems.
This is a strategic role for a highly experienced professional who will bring strong domain expertise, drive key architectural decisions, and become a technical reference point for software development within the organization.
The successful candidate will initially work alongside the current Software Manager, contributing to the definition of the software strategy, mentoring the engineering team, and supporting the company's long-term technology roadmap.
As the organization continues to evolve, the role is expected to progressively expand, including broader leadership and managerial responsibilities within the Software Engineering Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the software architecture of next-generation Automated Test Equipment platforms.
- Lead the design and evolution of embedded software solutions for Analog and Mixed-Signal semiconductor testing applications.
- Act as the company's technical reference for software architecture related to semiconductor test systems.
- Contribute to the definition of software frameworks, testing strategies and platform architecture for future products.
- Work closely with Hardware, Electronics, Systems and Application Engineering teams to define robust hardware/software interfaces.
- Introduce industry best practices in software architecture, software quality, modularity, maintainability and scalability.
