We believe, as Pope Francis said in Laudato Si’, that “truly, much can be done” About the position The Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. This role will be to support the accounting and bookkeeping needs of a US-based 501c3 (LSM’s main entity) with international operations (70+ LSM staff based in nearly 20 countries). This position will report directly to the Director of Finance & Operations. Key Responsibilities Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization. Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements. Maintains the general ledger. Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books. Performs monthly
