Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.Your role and responsibilitiesAs SAP VIM Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions. Your role will focus on optimizing accounts payable processes through automation and efficient digital content processing. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze current processes, and deliver tailored SAP VIM solutions.Your responsabilities will include:Executing unit and integration testing, resolving technical issues, and supporting end‑user training and adoption.Optimizing invoice processing cycles to improve efficiency and reduce errors.Creating comprehensive documentation including configuration details, process flows, and troubleshooting guidelines.Providing mentorship to junior consultants and supporting team knowledge‑sharing initiatives.Required educationNonePreferred educationBachelor's DegreeRequired technical and professional expertiseProven experience in designing and implementing SAP VIM solutions in medium to large‑scale projects.Hands‑on expertise with VIM components: Invoice Capture Center (ICC), Business Capture Center (BCC), OpenText Archive Server, and IES Barcoding.Solid understanding of SAP Accounts Payable (AP) processes and their integration with VIM.Strong integration experience with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and third‑party applications (e.g., Ariba).Ability to design and configure VIM workflows for invoice approval and exception handling.Experience in performing system testing, troubleshooting, and user training.Strong skills in creating functional and technical documentation.Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and clients.Preferred technical and professional experienceSAP Certification – e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate in S/4HANA Finance.Experience with SAP Fiori and modern AP/VIM interfaces.ABOUT BUSINESS UNIT IBM Consulting is IBM’s consulting and global professional services business, with market leading capabilities in business and technology transformation.
