For more information on Hill, please visit our website at The HSE Coordinator is responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by implementing COMPANY HSE policies, monitoring compliance with industry standards, coordinating safety programs, and ensuring that all personnel operate in accordance with regulatory and project-specific safety requirements, tasks required. General Description of Role and Responsibilities (but not limited to)HSE Program ImplementationImplement and maintain HSE plans, procedures, and programs on the project/site. Coordinate with project teams to ensure HSE policies are effectively communicated and enforced. Facilitate onboarding and HSE induction of new personnel and contractors. Monitoring & Inspection Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments at work sites. Monitor critical activities (hot work, confined space entry, working at height, lifting) to ensure compliance. Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment across the site. Incident ManagementInvestigate incidents, near‑misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions. Maintain incident and accident records in compliance with corporate and legal requirements. Follow up on root cause analyses and ensure lessons learned are communicated and implemented. Training & CommunicationCoordinate HSE training programs (e.g., fire safety, first aid, emergency response, permit‑to‑work). Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and emergency drills. Promote a strong safety culture through ongoing awareness campaigns. Regulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with local/national safety regulations and international standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, API, OHSAS). Interface with regulatory authorities during audits, inspections, or site visits. Maintain all safety documentation, permits, and risk registers up to date. ReportingCompile daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports for internal and client reporting. Track KPIs such as LTI, TRIR, and manhours worked without incident. Maintain safety statistics and analyze trends for continuous improvement. Skills & Competencies requiredDeep knowledge of safety management systems and risk assessment techniques. Familiarity with hazardous area classifications, lifting operations, work permits, and emergency response plans. Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Able to interpret HSE laws, codes, and industry practices. Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and SkillsBachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Engineering from an accredited university. Work experience of eight (8) years in the sought discipline after earning the BSc degree. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of offshore experience in total, with at least the last 3–5 years spent on offshore projects.
