Role Overview We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Commissioning Engineer (m / f / d) to join our team. In this role, you will perform commissioning, troubleshooting, and field service activities across shipyards and vessels in operation. A typical day may involve boarding a vessel at the shipyard, completing commissioning tasks, interacting with customers on‑site, and finalizing documentation for handover. While the role requires a high degree of independence, you will work closely with Site Management, Technical Office, and other internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key ResponsibilitiesRead, interpret, and accurately modify electrical drawings Perform commissioning and field service activities according to work plans Conduct troubleshooting, testing, fine‑tuning, and adjustments on automation equipment Independently perform complex repairs and full system overhauls when required Execute installation and pre‑commissioning checks Carry out commissioning tasks and hand over completed systems to customers and shipyards Lead and coordinate assigned teams during on‑site work Communicate directly with customers throughout execution Monitor and report progress internally and externally Prepare and submit comprehensive service reports Ensure compliance with NACOS Marine QHSE procedures and customer site regulations Advise customers and promote relevant NACOS solutions and upgradesKey RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience working onboard cruise or merchant vessels Solid understanding of automation systems Hands‑on experience with Platinum, XD‑DNA, or Lyngsø Automation systems (preferred) Ability to read, understand, and update electrical drawings Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to perform commissioning tasks independently Customer‑focused mindset with strong communication skills Ability to lead small teams during on‑site execution Willingness to travel domestically and internationally Strong commitment to quality, safety, and professional conductWhy Join Us?
