The Udine International School is seeking enthusiastic, experienced, and immediately available candidates for the position ofOn-Call Substitute Teacherat our Preschool. The ideal candidate is a reliable professional ready to step in at short notice to maintain a safe, nurturing, and educationally enriching environment for our young students. Key Responsibilities Immediate Coverage:Respond promptly to calls for substitute coverage, sometimes with very little advance notice, and arrive at the facility ready to work. Classroom Management:Assume responsibility for the classroom, following the lesson plans and daily schedules established by the absent teacher. Student Care:Provide consistent care, supervision, and attention to all students, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Curriculum Implementation:Implement age-appropriate activities, including reading, crafts, games, and outdoor play, that align with the Preschool's educational philosophy. Communication:Maintain professional and effective communication with co-workers and the school administration. Policy Adherence:Uphold all school policies, safety regulations, and licensing standards. Qualifications and Requirements (MANDATORY) Prior Experience:Minimum of 2years of verifiable experienceworking with preschool-aged children (typically ages 2-5) in a licensed childcare or educational setting. Language Fluency:Full and impeccable command of the English language(reading, writing, and speaking) is required. Immediate Availability:Must be available to accept substitute assignmentson an immediate, as-needed basisduring school hours ( 8:30 AM to 4:00PM)). Professionalism:Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, flexibility, and a professional demeanor. Background Check:Must successfully pass all required background checks and fingerprinting, as mandated by state/local regulations.
