You are comfortable managing competing priorities and are able to bring order to ambiguous scenarios. Maturity, impeccable judgment, and the ability to influence and lead are essential to success in this role. You are data‑driven and analytical. You can clearly and effectively communicate (written as well as verbally) across organizations and up to senior leadership.What does it take to succeed in this role? You need to be creative, responsible, and able to dig deep into AWS emerging technologies. You will learn existing systems and design an integrated system. You will think about business opportunities, operational issues, architectural improvements and the customer perspective in the source of a single conversation. You have a deep mastery of programming languages, distributed system design, and performance.About the TeamThe ICON team hosts Amazon websites and backend platform services that power the customer experience. We abstract and centralize the infrastructure management from service teams, bring agility to business processes, and manage infrastructure of 100s of Tier‑1 services.
