Team & Objectives You will be a key part of our Italian Client Management team focusing on Italian wholesale and institutional pooled fund clients. Along with other established members of this team, you will partner with the Sales team to ensure our clients enjoy an excellent ongoing relationship and experience with the firm. ResponsibilitiesSupport or own the ongoing relationship and experience for existing and new clients in line with contractual agreements and Columbia Threadneedle standards. Pre‑win activities: establish client service intent, map to firm’s capabilities, contribute to sales procedures, manage service expectations, identify potential service complexities. Onboarding, implementation & change: manage client engagement throughout the event, negotiate contractual documentation, engage internal teams, ensure clear internal service intent, finalize mandate guidelines/restrictions and rebate terms, document proposition, set up required regulatory information, support client through AML/KYC and distributor documentation, maintain and update client databases, verify service setup matches expectations. Ongoing client experience: support or own the ongoing relationship, alert Sales to cross‑sell/up‑sell/defence opportunities, be accountable for resolving investment‑ and service‑related issues, coordinate with internal teams, navigate firm for the client, monitor delivery vs service proposition, proactively identify impact of regulatory/industry changes, drive client‑specific and thematic improvements, conduct periodic service reviews.RoleSupport the strategic goals of the Client Management function. Build internal partnerships to drive better outcomes for clients and partners. Identify and migrate activities to relevant centres of expertise. Contribute to consistency of engagement across regions. Drive process efficiencies, simplify/enhance controls and provide management information. Contribute to delivery of strategic change across the team.QualificationsFluent Italian and English (both spoken and written). Structured individual with strong workflow and project‑management skills. Strong teamwork and cross‑business collaboration skills. Excellent listening skills and an assertive, empathetic approach to stakeholders. Good self‑organisational and time‑management skills; ability to work under pressure to short deadlines. Drive and enthusiasm for a first‑class service management function. Strong decision‑making and sound judgement. Desirable: understanding of fund management, financial instruments, administration processes.
