Our team is part of EY’s Central, Eastern and southeastern Europe & Central Asia (CESA) cluster, delivering market leading services to organizations across industries in Cyprus and internationally.The transformation imperative is urgent, challenging and opportunity‑rich, interested to join us?Your Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with clients in Cyprus and abroad to understand their fundamental business challenges and bring your experience to enable them to transform their business and solve their most complex problemsCoordinate client workshops, gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical requirementsSupport our clients through an end‑to‑end process to design, agree and deliver their future requirementsBe part of multi‑disciplinary agile teams of other analysts, developers, UI / UX designers, testers etc.Lead playback sessions, scope / user story walk‑throughs to client stakeholdersIdentify and analyse problems and issues that may affect the successful delivery and adoption of proposed solution into the businessContribute to business case developments and proposal preparationsCreate and deliver presentations to senior client stakeholders and internal leadership teamsCollaborate with colleagues through internal communities to drive quality, identify best practices and share knowledge across the teamAnalysis and reengineering of business processes, to improve efficiency and qualityAnalysis and reinvention of current products and services as well as holistic business modelsTo qualify for the role, you should haveMinimum years of 2+ experience as a Business Analyst or Technology Consultant or Product ManagerExperience in understanding business requirements and translating them into technical requirementsAbility to analyse and document complex business processes, user stories and functional requirementsAnalytical mind set; critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflictsExcellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audienceIdeally, you’ll also haveBanking, Insurance, Government or Telco experience is considered an advantageCertifications such as CCBA, PMP‑PBA and / or CPREExperience performing business analysis within a software development teamA willingness to travel to meet client needsExperience working in agile methodologiesHigh degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountabilityProactive, self‑starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectivelyGood appreciation of current market technology trends (Cloud, Data Analytics, Emerging Technologies etc.) and how these are likely to impact key industry playersData migration / data integration expertise, preferably within the insurance / financial services industryData mapping and data analysis skillset and ability to work with ERDs and database schemasTechnical knowledge of SQL and data profiling tools will be considered an advantageTechnical ETL tools knowledge will be considered an advantageSkills and attributes for successAbility to work in a dynamic environment and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsSelf‑driven and flexible, can work autonomously with a proven work ethicTeam player who enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and disciplinesHard working professional with ability to work under pressureAble to exhibit a high level of confidentialityWhat we offer you At EY, we’ll develop you with future‑focused skills and equip you with world‑class experiences.
