We actively maintain and secure that our properties are kept in relevant shape for the business.What you’ll be doing day to daySupport that each property is managed throughout its lifetime including safety, compliance, maintenance and improvement to ensure a safe and operational environment for business, co‑workers, customers and other stakeholdersSupport purchase and implementation of relevant property management innovations, digital and technical solutions related to your specialist area that meet the needs of the business and the many peopleAdvise, mentor and support the delivery of the agreed FM services in the cluster by maintaining and sharing up‑to‑date expertise and enhancing the Ingka specialist area knowledge, while driving operational best‑practice within the business in strict adherence with all applicable local regulations and mandatories in IngkaDevelop and maintain subject area expertise both personally and within the FM organization; drive the requirement collection process in your specialist area with relevant stakeholdersParticipate actively in the subject matter network on both local and global level by detecting needs, knowledge and best‑practices in the cluster organization and escalates/share them with the group organizationParticipate in global subject matter update meetings and organize them in the clusterDrive the implementation of approved best practices and projects, aimed at lowering operational costs, and improving the reliability of assets and the efficiency of the FM servicesDrive the impact of your specialist area on the operational and financial results of FM and the Ingka businessContribute to the goal setting, the FM budgeting activities, the 5‑year rolling plan and the annual plan in your specialist area. Assist in controlling costs through working in a lean, simple and cost‑conscious way, encouraging colleagues to discover more effective ways or working in your specialist areaFollow up permits, licenses, certificates and reporting measures to stay compliant with local and international legislation regarding the Facility Management scope in IngkaWhat you’ll need to haveTechnical background or passion in Facilities Management (or equivalent) within your specialist areaExperience in a multi‑unit facilities management organizationTechnical understanding in all aspects of a building and connected equipment. Understanding of asset management (maintenance and repair history, reinvestment planning, …)Communication skills and ability to build trustful relationshipsKnowledge of how to assess and mitigate risks in a business environmentUnderstand the main Facility Management business processes (e.g. work order management for urgent, planned and reactive maintenance, contract and supplier management) on site levelKnowledge of how to transform our operations to become climate positive and contribute to a circular societyKnowledge of how to successfully deliver, organise and follow up on 'hard' service and of all relevant IT tools within Facility ManagementGood knowledge of English and ItalianWorking with us has its rewardsBeing part of the IKEA team has many benefits.
