Within the Purchasing Department, we are looking for a new resource for the ASTRA V.I. SpA Piacenza Site ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Define agreement with serial production suppliers and main Iveco vendors Partner using his/her full knowledge on the supply base, competitive landscape and industry trend; understand the contents of the negotiation and financial aspects of the supplier. Autonomous and effective in guiding and managing a negotiation in all its tasks/roles/phases, producing visible results; Use the relevant tools to select suppliers and allocate business and manage the relationships with the assigned suppliers. For the managed suppliers achieve the objectives of savings, quality and timing. GENERAL BACKGROUND Bachelor or Master Degree in Economics / Business Administration / Accounting field; At least 2+ years of experience in purchasing / procurement offices as specialist in automotive / manufactaturing / machining companies; Relevant product knowledge; IT educated with strong Office Package skills and attitude; Language skills: Italian mothertongue; English professional; a third language is considered a plus. SOFT SKILLS Flexibility and Team-working orientation; Strongly adaptive in order to respect delivery date requested; Excellent communication and negotiation skills; Strongly self-motivated, determined and proactive, result driven; Willingnes of continuous learnig.
