Job ID: | Amazon Corporate Services Vietnam Company LimitedThis is a PCB Design Engineer position who will be a part of our global hardware engineering design team, playing a critical role in ensuring the highest product quality standards and driving continuous improvement for Ring and Blink products.Key job responsibilitiesResponsible for the PCB Design layout for new or existing productsDevelop detailed and optimized layouts for multi-layer printed circuit boards (PCB)Build the footprint for component following the Amazon design ruleEnsure the designs accounts for power, signal, and ground requirementsWork with other electrical and mechanical engineers, translate schematic designs into layout implementationCollaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure layouts are optimized for the productionPrepare comprehensive design documentation, including PCB layer stacks, trace widths report, and other relevant design rulesWork with Cadence tools: OrCAD, AllegroWork with Altium 365 toolA day in the lifeYou will be a key member of a design team that has products sell millions units a year. In our team, every voice matters, and every effort counts.Basic QualificationsBS in EE or equivalent experience8+ years of experience generating schematics using common electrical CAD programs, preferably OrCAD, Allegro, Altium8+ years of experience designing PCBs, executing part placement, routing traces, understanding electrical issues as related to PCBs and RF design8+ years of experience creating the component library (schematic symbol, footprint) and library managementUnderstanding of mechanical issues as they apply to PCB design, enclosure design, mounting, etc.Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutionsPreferred QualificationsExperience with RF design preferredStrong experience with Altium Designer and Altium 365 toolsExperience with camera, IoT, smart home or lighting productsHave IPC certification of PCB design - CIDOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
