We’re supporting a major, well-funded solar developer with an established and fast-growing European platform. As part of their continued expansion in Italy, they’re looking to appoint a Senior Project Development Manager to lead the development of utility-scale solar PV projects, from origination through to financial close. Lead the development of utility-scale solar PV projects in Italy Manage projects from origination through permitting, grid connection and financial close Identify and mitigate environmental, technical and regulatory constraints Coordinate internal teams and external advisors across development milestones Support handover of projects into construction and delivery teams 5+ years’ experience developing utility-scale solar PV projects in Italy ~ Strong understanding of technical constraints and development risk ~ Experience with BESS projects is a strong advantage ~ Based in Rome or willing to relocate ~ Fluent Italian and English Impressive project pipeline and long-term growth across Europe Senior level ownership and progression opportunity
