As a Sr Medical Advisor Meta Plus , you'll be at the forefront of scientific and medical support, engaging with customers at various levels and collaborating with the country team. Your expertise will guide the development of educational materials and promotional activities, ensuring compliance with Alexion policies and country regulations.AccountabilitiesIdentify, map, and develop Key Opinion Leaders, fostering strong scientific relationships.Manage medical plans, local clinical studies, observational studies, and diagnostic screenings/projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Develop and maintain scientific expertise in relevant therapeutic areas.Stay informed about local laws, guidelines, codes of practice, and Alexion policies related to promotional materials and educational programs.Create educational materials for internal and external initiatives.Deliver medical presentations to customers on-site.Support pharmacovigilance teams in managing medical issues related to adverse events.Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional messages and customized projects.Provide scientific support for the development, review, and approval of presentation materials for scientific meetings and symposia.Represent Alexion at local meetings for educational purposes and information gathering.Assist the TA Lead in providing medical training to the sales force.Participate in activities managed by professional organizations for personal development.Support the TA Lead in reviewing promotional material according to local regulatory requirements.Essential Skills / ExperienceStrong solid scientific background (Scientific Degree / PhD)At least 3 years’ experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical industryOrphan diseases knowledge / experience is a definite plusSound knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and protocols developmentDemonstrated ability to accurately and effectively evaluate medical / scientific literatureStrong relational attitude to keep solid scientific collaboration internally and externallyStrong communication skills with fluency in Italian and English (a must-have), both written and spoken, adaptive to a variety of counterparts from Top Management to operational colleagues to global/international teamsStrong project management skills with ability to coordinate and drive complex projects through the matrixEase in cross functional context and ability to build team relationship and collaborate in a global environment at all levels of the organizationAvailability for national travel (40% of time)Domicile in LombardyDesirable Skills / ExperienceMedical Degree is a plusHere, your career is not just a path but a journey to making a difference where it truly counts.
