You’ll be part of a dynamic team that works with top corporate clients on transactions supported by Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and Multilateral Agencies. Santander CIB is the global leader in Export & Agency Finance, giving you the opportunity to work on landmark international deals and collaborate with experts worldwide.To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate clients, helping them identify ECA/MLA‑backed financing solutions tailored to their needs.Originate new business opportunities, both inbound and outbound.Prepare client presentations, term sheets, and preliminary documentation.Lead the internal approval process, from drafting papers to presenting to committees.Collaborate with structuring teams in Madrid and origination teams across Santander’s global network.Maintain an active relationship with SACE and other ECAs and MLAs to identify new opportunities and support ongoing negotiations.What You’ll Bring Professional Experience~5 years in similar roles within banks, financial institutions, or ECAs/MLA – ideally in sales or structured finance. (Required)EducationMaster’s degree (with excellent results) in Finance, Economics, or a related field. (Required)LanguagesFluent English and Italian. (Required)Spanish is a plus. (Preferred)Hard SkillsProfessional background in export finance, structured and/or project finance transactions, with knowledge of the related documentation. (Required)Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. (Required)Soft SkillsExcellent attention to detail and critical thinking. (Required)Commercially driven, proactive, results‑oriented, and comfortable working both independently and in a team.
