Sr. Datacenter Engineer

OverviewStefanini Group is looking for a Sr. Datacenter Engineer (on-premises) to be part of our Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure (HCI) cluster within the Infrastructure Services Division.The ideal candidate is a highly experienced infrastructure specialist with deep expertise in datacenter operation hardware lifecycle management and critical environment systems. They demonstrate mastery in server network and storage architecture; strong proficiency in virtualization and automation; also disciplined approach to reliability capacity planning and incident management.This is a one-year fixed-term contract role with the possibility of extension.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the installation maintenance and troubleshooting of data center hardware and infrastructure.Monitors environmental conditions including temperature humidity and power usage to ensure compliance with operational standards.Assists in the planning and execution of datacenter projects including equipment upgrades migrations and expansions.Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.Rack and cable management and also basic knowledge of network protocols and cabling standards.Team collaboration and cross-functional communication.Physical capability (lifting equipment working in hot/cold aisles).Key requirementsBachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Electrical or Computer Engineering.Extensive experience with datacenter infrastructure: servers storage systems networking equipment racks cabling and power distribution.Strong expertise in virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware Hyper-V KVM) and container platforms.Proficiency with monitoring alerting and management platforms for datacenter and environmental systems.Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including routing switching load balancing and firewall concepts.Hands-on experience with hardware deployment diagnostics lifecycle management and capacity planning.Familiarity with automation and scripting (e.g. PowerShell Python Bash) to streamline operational tasks.Knowledge of datacenter standards and best practices including redundancy design cooling electrical systems and safety protocols.Experience supporting enterprise operating systems (Linux and Windows).About usWe are the Stefanini group, a global tech consulting company of Brazilian origin that believes in the power of people to transform businesses through technology.
