The Opportunity We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join the team in Milan. This is a unique opportunity for technically passionate engineer to launch their engineering career driving innovation and contributing to national and international groundbreaking projects.  As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer at Arup, you will: Support the Infrastructure and Structural teams across a wide range of national and international projects, engaging in field and office-based activities under the supervision of senior staff. Plan, supervise, and report on ground investigations, ensuring accurate data collection and comprehensive reporting, ensuring clarity and precision.  Contribute to technical analysis, modelling, and reporting, applying your academic knowledge to real-world challenges for a wide range of building and infrastructure projects.  Communicating design solutions (foundations, retaining structures, underground structures, slopes and earthworks) to technical and non-technical audiences. Contribute to geotechnical research engaging with Arup global Ground Engineering Skills Network, Universities and research partners, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. Does this role inspire you? We're looking for graduates who is passionate about technical excellence and innovation. We also value: Master degree in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent (acquired or to be acquired within the current year); Plan to acquire membership with a relevant professional body (Ordine degli Ingegneri);  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eagerness to learn and apply new concepts; Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to contribute effectively in a collaborative environment; High motivation, proactivity and willingness to take on new challenges; Interest and ability in digital space 3D modelling, scripting, or GIS would be an advantage.
