We are looking for people with analytical skills and a passion for consulting on complex projects in the built environment: on a building, city, and infrastructure scale. The Digital Team delivers Digital Services to our clients and Data and Automation Services to other teams in the Arup Group. Our work spans software development, computational design, data analysis, digital strategy and advisory work, combining digital innovation, creativity and multidisciplinary breadth.The RoleWe are seeking both recent graduates and undergraduates for the Digital Service Team of Italy Group. The successful candidate(s) will be integrated into a dynamic team and will participate in cutting-edge projects carried out in the department.Collaborate on projects in the field of digital transformation for clients from the public and private sectorPrepare deliverables for the client under the supervision of senior team members and project managersAssist in the preparation of offers and tendersCollaborate across sustainability and data consultancy for smart buildings, cities, infrastructure and digital twinsJoin and actively collaborate with a team of computational designers, engineers, data scientists and developersAutomate design and/or engineering workflowsContribute to the development of web applications (front-end, back-end, APIs, etc.)Develop data visualisation dashboards and toolsLearn how to manage and design data solutions to solve the challenges of complex engineering problemsCollaborate on technical solutions able to optimally solve client needsCoordinate your work with other Digital teams in EuropeQualificationsCurrently Graduate or Undergraduate studying Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science or similar with interest or experience in programming and digital solutionsData-driven analytical thinking and problem solvingDriven by curiosity and passion for innovative and creative technical solutionsBasic programming skills in JavaScript, Python, C#, or C++ and experience/interest in BIM/GIS or other AEC-related technologiesAbility to work as a generalist specialist across topics related to the built environmentCollaborative style with innovation, learning and teamwork; flexibility, multi-disciplinary approach and good communication skillsEnjoys a creative and dynamic process, thrives in a changing environment, and can design strategies to address complex problemsHigh level of English and basic ItalianWhy ArupAt Arup, we offer a rewarding career with a global company committed to a better future.
