Sr Software Development Engineer, DSP Tech The Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Tech team is at the heart of Amazon's transportation network, supporting scalable, innovative, and cost-effective delivery operations globally. Our mission is to empower delivery vendors to build high-quality, safe, and sustainable logistics companies. We are committed to exceeding customer expectations through highly evolvable, mobile‑first strategies and highly scalable systems that support the entire logistics lifecycle. Our platforms are designed for global use and leverage multi‑tenant technology, enabling Amazon and hundreds of developers to innovate and grow at scale. Key job>Have expertise in full‑stack software development, including customer‑facing applications and backend services essential for efficient last‑mile delivery operations. Possess the vision and technical expertise to build solutions that help DSPs and Amazon in enhancing vehicle safety and compliance, and optimizing vehicle maintenance and utilization to reduce total cost of operations. Be responsible for the overall architecture of Last Mile Fleet tech team owned systems, ensuring the team builds the right solutions that address customer requirements and business use cases. Make critical decisions on architectural components, technology choices, and design patterns across the teams, and promote engineering best practices in design forums. Collaborate with the SDM to adopt best practices for operational and engineering excellence. Resolve disagreements by leading inclusive, constructive dialogue with team members and related teams.Join us to shape the future of global logistics and make a meaningful impact at Amazon Basic Qualifications5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering teamPreferred Qualifications5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
