The candidate - Quoting Engineer – Ventilated Units is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive technical and commercial quotations for customized ventilated unit solutions. The role acts as a key interface between Sales, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain, ensuring that customer requirements are correctly translated into optimized offers in terms of performance, cost, and lead time.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed technical and commercial quotations for special and customized ventilated unitsAnalyze customer specifications, technical drawings, and project requirementsSelect appropriate components (fans, motors, coils, casings, accessories) according to performance and regulatory standardsCollaborate with Sales to define optimal technical solutions and commercial strategiesInterface with Engineering and Production to validate feasibility, costs, and delivery timesRequest and evaluate supplier quotations for special componentsEnsure compliance with applicable standards, certifications, and internal guidelinesMaintain and update costing tools, price lists, and technical databasesSupport Sales during technical clarifications and pre-order phasesContribute to continuous improvement of quoting processes and toolsEfficient and skilled direct communication with the CustomerWork Experience & Education RequirementsTechnical background (Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Industrial Engineering, or similar)Proven experience in technical quoting or sales engineering within HVAC or ventilation industriesStrong knowledge of ventilated units, air handling systems, fans, and related componentsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsGood understanding of cost structures and industrial manufacturing processesProficient in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel in particular)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesOpen to training and continuous professional developmentKnowledge, Skills and Abilities required.Fluent in English (written and spoken)Additional languages are considered a plusDetail-oriented with strong accuracy in calculationsCustomer-focused and solution-driven mindsetAbility to manage multiple quotations and deadlines simultaneouslyProactive and organized approach to work#J-18808-Ljbffr
