Junior Regional Controller Emea

Job title: Regional Commercial Controller EMEA Location: Segrate (MI), Italy Hybrid working: Yes Overview At dsm‑firmenich we are looking for a curious, driven and independent thinker to join our EMEA Finance team as a Junior Commercial Controller for our Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) business. The reporting line goes to the Finance Director Italy but the work is directly for the Head of Finance EMEA. You will be working alongside the Head of Finance ANH EMEA, supporting a business with ~€1 Bn in revenue, and helping shape the way we manage and steer performance across the region. Key Responsibilities Drive budgeting, forecasting and full P&L analysis (Sales, GPx, EBITDA). Deliver insights on monthly performance across countries, segments and customers. Analyse product-level profitability: unit costs, selling prices, price/volume impacts. Support demand planning by consolidating and challenging regional inputs. Own daily/weekly/monthly reporting and act as gatekeeper for rebate processes. Lead cost variance analysis, accruals, budget tracking and ensure IFRS compliance. You bring 2 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, commercial controlling or management reporting. Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights. Preferred experience with SAP and Power BI; Microsoft 365 tools knowledge (mandatory Microsoft Office Package knowledge). Solid understanding of management accounting and financial principles. A proactive, self‑starter attitude with the maturity to work independently. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent. Fluency in English.
