Languages Required:Italian C1, English B2Must be based in Italy – No sponsorship availableWe are seeking an experiencedHIL Methodologist Support Engineerto join our team and contribute to advanced testing activities within the industrial handling sector.
This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a technical, safety‑critical environment and is ready to take ownership of Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop methodologies for next‑generation industrial vehicles.Key Responsibilities
Develop, introduce, and consolidateHardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) methodologiesfor fault‑injection testing on industrial forklifts.
Ensure compliance withEN 1175 safety standards , with potential extension toBattery Management System (BMS)testing.
Define a complete simulation framework enabling controlled testing of:
Electrical faults
Communication faults
Sensor faults
Validate therobustness, reliability, and fail‑safe behaviorof vehicle control systems.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure high‑quality, traceable, and automated test processes.️ Required Technical Skills
Strong experience with theVector toolchain , particularlyCANoe , for modeling and simulating communication buses (CAN, CANopen, LIN, mixed networks).
Proficiency withv Test Studiofor test case definition, automation, and traceability.
Mandatory certifications:PES – PEV – PAI(work with live electrical parts).
Solid understanding of safety‑critical systems and HIL architectures.Additional Requirements
3–5 years of experiencein HIL testing, automotive/industrial systems, or related fields.
Italian C1(mandatory) andEnglish B2proficiency.
Ability to handle sensitive data with professionalism.
No travel required.
A workstation will be provided on‑site by the customer.
