About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager - Supply Chain to serve as the Site Manager’s right hand at our Moncalieri site. As we prepare the site for upcoming transformations, you will play a pivotal role in leading production, optimizing logistics, and spearheading multidisciplinary improvement projects. You will be the bridge between strategic planning and day-to-day excellence, ensuring our manufacturing processes are safe, efficient, and cost-effective. What do we offer? Lead and deliver multidisciplinary improvement initiatives across debottlenecking, quality, logistics, and cost reduction. Ensure production continuity by managing shift schedules, material requisitions, machine loading, and labor efficiency. Oversee inventory control processes and physical inventory counts in line with regional targets. Partner with production planners to schedule blend tanks, reactors, and workforce effectively. Integrate and coordinate production operations across multiple shifts and product lines. Collaborate with R& T and Product Management to resolve formulation, packaging, labeling, and logistics challenges. Recruit, train, develop, and motivate production teams to meet production schedules with optimal productivity and cost performance. Monitor and report key operational KPIs including First Pass Yield, On‑Time Delivery, and Cost of Poor Quality. Champion and enforce Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards and manufacturing procedures. Act as a working manager, providing operational backup to production supervisors when required. What are we looking for? Education Bachelor’s degree (B. A. or B. S.) in a relevant technical discipline preferred. Candidates without a formal degree must demonstrate at least 5 years of successful, relevant experience and training. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or equivalent industrial environments. Proven background in production supervision, operations leadership, or team leadership. Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment; experience within the chemical industry is highly preferred. Key Skills & Competencies Excellent organizational and planning skills. Italian bilingual level and English: professional level written & spoken are a must. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Familiarity with modern production methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, SQC, or similar. Ability to adapt and thrive in a demanding, fast‑paced environment. Results‑driven mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities. Natural leadership style with the ability to engage cross‑functional teams.
