Senior Accountant, Marina Di Portisco
Are you a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a strong foundation in accounting and financial controls? We’re looking for a Senior accountant to join our finance team, where your focus will be on Internal controls, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and a variety of ad-hoc financial tasks .
If you’re passionate about ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and contributing to a well-organized finance department, we want to hear from you
Internal controls/SOX Compliance: Assist in maintaining and testing internal controls to ensure financial reporting is compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
Support SOX audits and work with internal and external auditors to provide documentation and explanations as needed.
Review and ensure proper account classification and compliance with accounting policies.
Account Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis, to support senior management in decision-making.
Ad-Hoc Financial Tasks: Handle a variety of other financial tasks as needed, including system updates, process improvements, and financial analysis for special projects.
Ad-Hoc Administration Tasks: Help other teams as required.
Legal, Operations, etc.
Italian and English speaker.
Experience: Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, with a focus on compliance, accounting, and reconciliations.
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (advanced skills preferred).
