Grid Connection Manager

Overview
The Grid Connection Manager will be responsible for managing grid connection activities for utility-scale solar PV projects, supporting assets from early-stage development through to construction and energisation.
The role sits at the intersection of technical, regulatory, and project teams.
Responsibilities
Manage grid connection strategies and processes for solar PV projects in Italy
Act as the main interface with Terna (TSO) and relevant Distribution System Operators (e.g.
e-distribuzione)
Coordinate grid connection applications, technical studies, and connection agreements
Support MV/HV electrical design inputs alongside internal and external engineers
Advise on grid capacity, timelines, risks, and cost implications
Support projects through development, permitting, construction, and energisation Requirements
Experience with grid connection processes for renewable energy projects in Italy (solar PV essential)
Electrical engineering, energy, or related technical background
Large network of relevant contacts
Solid understanding of Italian grid connection regulations and procedures
Strong stakeholder management and project coordination skills
