Leap29 are seeking an experienced Origination Manager to be based in Rome. This is a key role for someone with a strong background in sourcing & structuring solar and BESS opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and closing new co-development and land opportunities to expand the company’s Italian pipeline.This is a great opportunity to take a lead role in shaping the future project portfolio, working closely with local co-developers, legal, and technical teams. Key Responsibilities: Identify, negotiate, and secure solar and storage co-development opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with co-developers, landowners, and consultants. Manage and optimise legal agreements and origination strategy. Evaluate potential sites and opportunities from a commercial and technical perspective. Collaborate with development, legal, and engineering teams to progress deals efficiently. Track market trends, policy updates, and regulatory changes to inform strategy. Represent the business at industry events and conferences when required. Requirements: Fluent Italian & English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills. 5+ years’ experience in origination and closing solar/BESS co-development deals in Italy. Relevant degree in economics, business, engineering, or a related discipline. Strong network and relationships within the Italian energy sector. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. Experience across the full project development lifecycle and financial modeling is a plus.
